Current research project:
weba presents a revolutionary production method for the automotive industry, with a novel production concept for B-pillars. In a comprehensive research project together with the Technical University Graz, weba has developed a tool for the production of B-pillars in the processing of ultra-high strength material. The novel chassis concept reduces the weight of the components and improves crash safety. For the time being, prototypes are manufactured out of martensitic steel MSW 1200 . weba is already negotiating with OEMs about starting a serial production.
